Yeah, promo is important for Korean charts, even more now than before. So many groups went top10 on Melon chart thanks to Music Shows promo (or tiktok viral).

 

Right now #1 on Melon for Pink Venom is impossible, the 1st song is getting new peak in unique listeners (510k) and Pink Venom is losing uls.

I woke up with it stuck in my head today but it seems like it's the most hated kpop release of the year. Everybody is bandwagoning on it and overreacting because cmon the takedown fantasy for BP is real, if they can't stop it from smashing they're gonna do whatever they can to ruin people who enjoy its day.

 

I find all of this so useless and dramatic considering the title track and full album is like less than a month away, so why bother. Acting like the song is gonna be their only release for the next 3 years while also being outraged as if the pinks drop this kind of music every 3 months. Where's the logic. 

 

They're gonna drop an Inki performance, drop a VMA stage, and call it a day for Pink Venom while it's already one of the biggest kpop songs of the year 1 day in.  Speaking of VMAs I hope they don't get group of the year anymore since they're dragged enough as it is. Snatch that best kpop for Lalisa and keep it moving.

Seems like this will get blocked on Melon since YG didnt book them any promo in korea, great idea YG  
Hopefully they atleast debut at #1 on spotify  but for some reason i have a feeling they are gonna get blocked and debut at #2 there aswell

It really wasn't. It was kinda mixed, but there were only memes about the drop sounding like "Teddy farted on a beat". Otherwise people were loving the choreo, the video and the outro. Pink Venom feels much more divisive.

Honestly idc about the hate, it was the same for HYLT, I’m just concerned that they still didn’t get a RAK. HYLT was hated but was stomping on the k charts. This time we got hate and can’t even get a RAK
