No lmao they're not going to the Grammys. YG doesn't send them to awards, an exception could be made if they have a nomination since it IS prestigious but that will never happen since UMG fumbled their chance for a BNA nom. They never promote them enough in the US as it is , let alone a Grammy campaign. They have better chances showing up at the MAMAs and winning a daesang than that

Korean awards shows always treated them like **** so I prefer BP to enjoy their concerts instead of sitting for many hours at some korean awards shows.

If they didn't attend MAMA before they certainly won't now when it's mostly just 4th gen groups attending. Just look at last year line up. Barely anyone from 3rd gen. This year there will probably be even less older acts.

The only annoying thing about skipping those korean award shows is less iconic stages and they'll never get their chance at their overdue attendance daesang like most other big groups and kpop stans will forever act dense and use it against them as some sort of legitimate "drag" to downplay their impact.
