Everyone. Say thank you Miley! :clap3:

Classic! The original will surpass it eventually, if it didn't already and they're just lumping everything under the remix:

I'm not sure.

The release date on the certification is 24.07.13. Plus the artist is listed as Lana Del Rey Vs Cedric Gervais.

However in this 2017 article

Summertime Sadness

Released: January 2012
Official Chart peak: 4
Combined sales: 998,000

As is often the case with Lana, her biggest successes arrive when you least expect them. A year and a half after the release of her Born To Die album, the wistful album cut Summertime Sadness had new life breathed into it by French house producer Cedric Gervais, sending the song Number 4 on the Official Singles Chart – her highest peak on the UK Top 40.

It’s combined sales are just shy of 1 million, split between 651,000 downloads and 35 million streams. It’s the ultimate summer sad-banger – officially, if you base it on sales.

But in the 2021 update article, it lists the remix release date and doesn't explain whether the sales are combined with the non-remix

1. Summertime Sadness (2013)
Official Chart peak: 4
UK chart sales: 1.53 million

As is often the case with Lana, her biggest successes arrive when you least expect them. A year and a half after the release of her Born To Die album, the wistful album cut Summertime Sadness had new life breathed into it by French house producer Cedric Gervais (apparently unbeknown to Lana), sending the song Number 4 on the Official Singles Chart – her highest peak on the UK Top 40. The song's 1.53 million chart sales figure includes a mega 95.5 million streams.
