Terrifying, RIP

I heard it from over a mile away, it was so f**king loud I thought there was an explosion

I don’t live too far from the area and I was out on a jog around the time the lightning started. I never ran faster in my life trying to get home because I was so scared.

Why would the white house be impervious from being struck by lightening ? or even within the vicinity of it.

Either way, crazy story. Even more so since they were a couple and left this world together. Life is crazy, man.

Lightning rods don't attract lightning. They just allow lighting to have a path to the ground without much damage occuring.

yes it does..?? having lightning rods around you make it safer since the lightning will strike the rod and not you :sherlock:

I don't know how lightning works but I'm reading it was apparently six strikes in one

Not too long ago there was a woman that got struck by lightning while walking her dogs and all parties died. Now more than ever I take cover every time there's a storm and I live in Florida mind you.

They were under the tree which acted as a conductor, you can be electrocuted even if you’re not near a lightning strike since the ground can conduct the electric current
