Since I got my teeth done, I've been more attentive to people's teeth when talking to them. I just can't date anyone, when their teeth isn't clean or have not visited the dentist in the last 6 months for cleaning. Flossing is just as important as brushing it.

They dont need to be white white or perfectly straight, but I'm definitely a little standoff'ish if their grill is busted. I'm a fan of nice teeth, when there's obvious signs of decay or MAJOR alignment issues, I'm definitely turned off if im being honest.

It’s perfectly normal that many people don’t have pristinely white teeth. There is, of course, a limit, after which I get why people might find it unpleasant. I don’t care as long as it’s within normal human range.

You can have clean teeth and visit a dentist every three months and still have yellowed teeth. It’s genetic. If their teeth and gums and healthy, and long as the mouth isn’t dirty and the breath isn’t stank, I wouldn’t cancel a person for their teeth.

I think this is funny because European nations tend to be the fashion and beauty standard but they literally do not care that much about the physical appearance of their teeth 

But I think ultra yellow teeth are gross. I always get compliments on the whiteness of my teeth but all I literally do is just brush twice a day and drink water. 

 

I actually dislike extremely white teeth. However, I'm also disgusted by plaque buildup. So, if the person is somewhere in the middle I'm ok with that (with a clean tongue and healthy gums).

I also learned recently that if your partner doesn't have good oral hygiene their irresponsibility could be the reason you also get cavities.

Your teeth can be stained with some yellow and still be healthy, but I'm actually talking about when it gets very bad and it builds up when it becomes tartar/plaque on the teeth.

I find the fake ones more unattractive. Those Trident White teeth are so distracting

I will never get over people getting veneers as a trend. It messes with your face shape, your bite, and now your real teeth are the size of toddler’s. Like…

 

Social media made celebrities too accesible to the general public. Now they think they can do whatever they can, and they end up looking a hot mess because they don’t have the resources or money the celebrities have 

It’s def not a pro but somebody can practice proper dental hygiene & still have yellow teeth. I don’t have that problem but as long as your teeth are where they need to be and well looked after, the colour is negotiable. Janky messed up teeth just aren’t for me. Yellow? It’s not the end of the world

i think the distinction really is between USA and the rest of the world. in the US it’s common to see even average people with perfectly straight and unnaturally white teeth. whereas in the rest of the world cosmetic dentistry isn’t nearly as popular. people might have healthy teeth, but they aren’t even close to flawless like in USA. 

Those uncanny white and straight teeth I don't care for, but I don't think you're going to find anyone who think yellow teeth are hot

if the person is ugly they'll be ugly whether their teeth is yellow or white tbh

yes tbh. I understand you can have naturally yellowish teeth and brush religiously etc. - I was one of them. But honestly, the money I spent having them professionally whitened etc. has been the best money I've ever spent and such a confidence boost.
