I hope Nancy Pelosi is proud of Cuellar after all the work she did to get him elected!

It's like Cueller has an A rating from the NRA for a reason.

Such trash people. But it’s not passing in the Senate anyway. November means everything. If it’s a disaster, put on your seatbelts and hope the collision doesn’t obliterate your life. Speaking for those who will actually be impacted, not the straight white Christian males (and their complicit wives).

White liberals on ATRL who spend the TX primary just trying to throw jabs at Jessica Cisneros got what they wanted. A literal Republican with a "D" next to his name. :clap3:

Glad @Kassi can sleep at night with all the Republicans their fave Pelosi has helped to elect. Gotta help them with that strong party she wants them to have after all. :clap3:

Yes I can sleep at night knowing that Pelosi's House has passed:

  • Assault Weapons Ban
  • Women’s Health Protection
  • Respect for Marriage
  • Right to contraception

Thanks for checking in

Now let's wait to see how Bernie's Senate disappoints us.

Again, the House passing **** means nothing. This bill almost failed on her watch as well. She was saved by those two Republicans flipping and would have been foiled by her precious, beloved moderates that she goes out of her way to protect from being primaried otherwise. :ahh:

That's not how Nancy's House works :rip: She doesn't bring bills to the floor to fail (like dumbass AOC wants in order to "put people on the record" for stupid things like her Green Dream or w/e).

The vote count is done ahead of time and whoever needs to be whipped is whipped. And those that don't get wiggle room to maneuver for their district's politics.

The reason she supports incumbents is because you don't get to ASK for loyalty and sacrifice (like she did for landmark bills including the 2008 bailouts and the ACA) and then turn around and betray your people. Leftists don't get this and that's why they suck coalition building.

Did you really just @ someone randomly so you can argue with them?  :toofunny2:

@OP They can rot, they’re probably taking the “representing my district” thing too literally.

"loyalty and sacrifice" for corporate giveaways as though that's a major ask for this corporatist corrupt party. You're too much. :ahh:

Yes or no question, do all 435 districts across the USA have the same politics?

No explanation, just yes or no. I will ignore any other response. :duck:

No but that really doesn't matter. Crooked politicians like Cuellar and Pelosi serve the same corporate entities and are in it for their personal profit above all else. :michael:

Not letting you dictate the argument without any framing either. :duck:

Not really about dictating the argument. It's about understanding that GUNS are POPULAR in TEXAS.

That statement alone is almost cliche, cause like duh. But it bears repeating because people forget that representatives represent their constituents and not AOCs politics. Just ask Bernie how Vermont feels about guns.

No. They represent their donors.

Anyway, this bill is meaningless since it won’t pass the Senate. You need ten Republicans to crossover, and nothing Schumer or Bernard can do is going to bring them over. So the bill might as well have died in the House too for all the good Pelosi’s worthless Speakership and failure to keep her caucus United managed to do on this issue did :gaycat6:
