It's genuinely sad how quickly ATRL jumped ship from supporting Ukraine when it was no longer on the front page of news.

Yup. Suddenly our defensive war of survival against a historically oppressive force that has hundreds of years of history behind it is suddenly America vs Russia Cold War 2.0. The inability for Americans to think outside of their own zone of awareness while simultaneously preaching as if they know everything is just appalling. Their big brained opinions are actually just Russian propaganda talking points, and they fall for it hook, line, and sinker :katie:

Millions of Ukraine citizens are no more because of the ego of this man and all he cares about is this? the least he can do is beg Putin for mercy so that no more blood shed happens.

I tried imagining Bush doing it during the Iraq War. I've never cringed so hard. :toofunny2:

And can some of y'all stop the "Russian propaganda" arguments? Nobody here who's criticizing this photoshoot is anti-Ukraine or pro-Russia. We just think it's a tacky photoshoot; it doesn't mean we don't sympathize with Ukraine.

It's impossible to do it without cringing and laughing at the same time.

If Tudman did this 30 yrs ago- croats would be like- bro wtf we are in the middle of a war u dumb **** and serbians would be like....wtf is this, is it mk ultra tactic or pure mindfuck

Its funny to imagine the reactions from both sides because its so cringy and funny and tacky af

Okay then take the US out of equation if you were from a small country who would you support? A country invading another country and threatening to invade at least 5 other countries, or the country that's merely trying to keep their current borders?

I would not pursue a course of action that destroys the standard of living of my citizens who have nothing to do with the conflict.

The UN estimates about 5000-5500 civilians have died. Tragic, but where are you getting millions from...?

People here seem to pray to be proven right about Ukraines corruption but they miss the immense efforts that the current government is issuing to change that.

I'm sure the guy that had his offshore accounts on Pandora Papers and that got exposed by the U.S. Intelligence meeting leaders of organized crime in Ukraine is committed to end corruption.

Are you talking about America or Russia? Here's the problem. Both US and Russia are historically oppressive, imperialist nations. It makes zero sense to say yes we should tank our economies, skyrocket fuel prices, have record inflation to defeat evil Russia when the US of A has done the same and worse very recently.

I feel bad for Ukrainians that they're getting invaded. It sucks that their politicians insisted on becoming part of NATO when Russia saw this as a threat. But I do not see why we 10,000 miles away need to suffer for it as well. If this is harsh, then I'm sorry but the world is harsh. That's life.

Your country is being used as a pawn in another chapter of world politics power struggles between two larger, infinitely more powerful nations. USA demanded Ukrainian leadership try to become part of NATO, knowing it could provoke this reaction by Putin. It did. It sucks, I'm sorry. But I do not see why all fo Europe and North America need to destroy the standard of living of their citizens for a war that has nothing to do with them. The history of the world is one of conquest. It sucks, but it is what it is. There is no reason why hundreds of millions need to suffer in order to fund an unwinnable, pointless war of attrition.

So the Switzerland nazi gold approach, neutral for profit. US supporting Ukraine is long term thinking and if you put the pieces together you can figure out how things would play out for the US if they blindly approved of Russian imperialism.

Are you up to date with the latest Russian propaganda? They have no problem with NATO expansion now that Finland and Sweden are joining

You're calling not having record inflation and insane fuel prices "profit"? And the cheap Nazi comparison too. You are so disingenuous. Your words are poison. A snake. I will no longer interact with you.

All of these words to somehow justify that my life and my opinion as a Ukrainian doesn't matter :skull: We as a nation chose to side with the West, no demands necessary. Russia was the one that invaded Ukraine, not the other way around, no matter how many ways you try to twist it. There is a reason why Eastern Europe is the biggest critic of Russia. Not even gonna bother dignifying this with a longer response because this post is HELLA offensive.

"Just bow down to Russia already, you're inconveniencing ME" :skull:

It's really scary how Russian psy-ops have infiltrated both the far-right and far-left... Everyday I believe more and more in the horseshoe theory. Checking out Twitter and Reddit, I see both the communists and the fascists using these same talking points. Truly scary times

You think that inflation started with Ukraine invasion completely ignoring the last couple of years :skull: I mean this is very typical when you think that the rest of the world outside of your own country doesn't exist, you probably read a Biden is responsible for gas prices and baby formula twitter post by someone with a confederate flag before this too. Follow the trend, see where it started, use common sense.

Posing like the king and queen of money laundering the billions of US aid while staying in a war that they know they'll lose. Totally not creepy and totally not indicative of how fraudulent this entire conflict is at all :clap3:

Tone deaf, tacky, tasteless.

genuinely surprised by the response in here, I saw nothing wrong with it

It's not like he fled his country to do photoshoots :rip: He's stayed in Ukraine pretty much all this time

the stupidity in this thread.

if being in Vogue is what is needed to upkeep the awareness among the masses about the ongoing WAR then why not. not sure why the conversation is suddenly being turned against the oppressed. it's not like this was his most important gig in the past months or weeks, i'm sure it's quite the contrary.

And the way some users in here are playing this war down and trying to make it about race... yes it's a shame that atrocities in Africa and the Middle East don't get as much coverage, but this is a nuclear superpower invading a sovereign country with a great deal of geopolitical significance :rip: It's in everyone's best interest in the long run for Ukraine to win

not everything is about identity politics, get off of twitter for a while please
