Latin supremacy holding off the racist :clap3:A shame that Beyoncé will keep Benito from 10 weeks, though (I do hope she gets many weeks at #1 anyway).

Harry doing amazingly good too:clap3:

Bad Bunny so stable :deadbanana2:

Oh Morgan is back at #2 :deadbanana2:

SEVENTEEN

Posted

time to stan bad bunny for blocking that other person being #1 again

Posted

Morgan going back to #1 at some point would be insane. Hope it happens

I don't even like his music but I'm glad that a latino has been blocking the gringos week after week after week. :lmao:

Kind of fascinating how Bad Bunny and Morgan Wallen, each lodged in their respective numbers at ~100k and ~50k per week with barely any movement week after week, represent two demographics: Southern whites and Latino-Americans. It's like a huge proportion of each demographic is streaming those albums non-stop, but outside of them they are relatively unknown. Both have big airplay hits within their niche radio markets, but nothing crossing over to Top 40. It's a very interesting situation where the biggest albums of recent times are both appealing to (large but still) niches as opposed to being albums that are being listened to by the entire country. Speaks to how fragmented taste is in America. The monoculture is truly dead.

Thank god for Bad Bunny, hopefully he can remain stable and keep IT away from #1

Morgan is testing "Wasted on You" for crossover appeal, it's getting Top 40 airplay, currently at #39 there. We'll see how it does.

Adele is a given. It is 5 weeks short.

Poor Miss Adkins :rip:

Spoiler

21 was such an event in pop culture  :jonnycat:

Why did Adele have to lose her record against some generic country singer who doesn’t deserve sh*t in the first place ?

Morgan Wallen at #2 = weak album market. Sad times.
