Well let's put context into things. The reason it peaked at 41 because the opening lines were controversial for the moment so it got little play but because it was such a great classic it survived restriction to become a global classic.

One would think it's 2020 and we're getting fed questionable Glory era scraps by her (former) team while she can't even drive her own car, when in fact Britney has been a FREE woman all year. She doesn't do anything she doesn't want to, so there shouldn't be any red flags concerning this release. She's been subtly teasing new music for a while now, in fact.

 

But I get it, the Free Britney / B Anon accounts miss the clout they were getting a year ago, and their personality now revolves around a terminated conservatorship. People are gullible and love drama, so they eat them up despite the fact their pathetic claims are easily debunked every time.
