« isn't this Elton's 2nd biggest hit after the Candle in the Wind song... 25 years ago? Not too shabby »

If you define a hit song by its peak then yes but we all know peaks don’t mean a lot, especially as Britney stans.

I was talking about after Candle in the Wind. 2nd biggest hit. Meaning after Cold Heart.

Top 60 WTH. Hopefully lips has updates. even if 16 songs return from recurrent it should have risen higher.

Final Hot 100 predictions: #54 Hold Me Closer (+28)

I don't think this is factoring in the physical so they could move us to #50 :eli: Either way :clap3:

So what's the rule with recurrent? Like what position would it have to chart in order to remain.

If it has over 20 weeks on chart, it has To be charting inside the top 50 unless it has been increasing in points for several weeks.  If it has over 52 weeks on chart, same as before but within top 25.

Yeah, these damn recurrent songs returning. The only hope beyond 20 weeks for recurrent is if the songs that are in the 40s/50s fall now that the year end countdown spins are off. HMC isn't falling as hard as some.

20 weeks confirmed, though.

This radio update is not cute. We need at least some incremental gains to push it into the top 50.
