Brishka Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 If we keep getting 1M+ updates on the radio this week, this might offset a drop in sales, and we might spend another week in the top20 (if streams remain stable).

I hope that it will stabilize due to the higher TTH placement.
Erreur2 La Nature Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Ugly drop. It lost as much as last week.
JevyDuty Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Today’s and Yesterday’s update have literally no sense together, one of them is clearly wrong

Guess we will see tomorrow.
nathanspears Posted September 5, 2022 Author Posted September 5, 2022 (edited) That makes no sense. If it's dropped so much why did they put it higher on TTH? Hopefully it can recover today with the higher placement. Edited September 5, 2022 by nathanspears
Green Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 The drops I'll just say let's hope it gets the top 10 tomorrow on the Hot 100 because it's now or never.
Trash Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 It's sunday a day of rest *rebecca moore's voice*

Not really. Today's radio uprade was really good, so this could end up becoming a radio hit and peak several months from now, but we need strong streaming numbers to make sure that it doesn't freefall next week. Today's Spotify update is tragic. Edited September 5, 2022 by Brishka
nathanspears Posted September 5, 2022 Author Posted September 5, 2022 What were you cigs doing yesterday, stream it!!

Ghiles Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 It rose in streams on Saturday and then lost that much on Sunday? I'm so confused
Rev8 Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 2nd biggest streams peak and the biggest fall back to back Anyways, we can expect a pretty good update tomorrow maybe?

It’s all about paid promotion. I’m Good (Blue) was doing worse than HMC and then it got a higher spot to push its streams. Calm Down (Remix) only has 11M streams and is right below HMC.

No. Expect the worst placement tomorrow. Labor Day is today which consists of people playing party songs, old hits and “songs of the summer.” HMC came out about a month too late to get a Labor Day boost. Hopefully it’ll end up getting a New Year’s Eve boost where they play the top hits of the year. 1 hour ago, Ghiles said: It rose in streams on Saturday and then lost that much on Sunday? We should see a -2M update for Monday, but it’ll rebound very well the next Monday if it keeps this up.
Arcadius Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I mean don't most songs drop a bit on Spotify on Sundays? This is not a song that's just gonna organically smash.

It's a completely different sound and vibe

Well..maybe (and hopefully) the other countries will come thru and keep it afloat we dont have labor day here

Nah it dropped quite a lot everywhere, this US holiday has nothing to do with it. It's either due some sort of ads being no longer effective or some random factor And TTH placement 100% depends on replay value and reception. I mean As It Was still #1 tells a lot lol

nathanspears Posted September 5, 2022 Author Posted September 5, 2022 Something definitely changed. Maybe it was an ad expiring? When I'm streaming, I occasionally get ads for other songs, do those plays add to the stream numbers?
