brazil Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 First of all I'm not affirming anything, and although the right have highjacked conspiracy theories. I think a certain level of skepticism can be healthy for society when people who engage in them can recognize their shortcomings. When reading about monkeypox I've saw that it was first discovered in monkeys in the 50s in Denmark, and only in the 80s cases in humans in Africa were first reported. Now, including with HIV I have a level of distruss of how the diseases first began spreading in Africa, many theories point to possible eugenics attempts to halt populational growth. And if you argue that is far fetched I recommend reading on actual know eugenic programs sponsored by the US and European governments. Aside from that, my question is, why monkeypox began this contagious strike now in Western countries? I've read its probably luck with the increase of flights etc, but total flight number this year is expected to be 25 million, still way below the 38 million flights seen in 2019 and 2018, and although many people are living life to the fullest most people I know are still living life more strictly than pre-covid, so aren't the chances of the virus spreading actually lower now than before? I'm not dismissing the likelihood of it following the mainstream notion of spread, but its important to be inquisitive when there are literally billions to be made out of this, many people will go to all lengths for money. Thoughts?
Archetype Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 I don’t think it matters what we think because it’s all speculation that leads to absolutely nothing logical.
Protocol Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 I think it's more likely that it unfortunately got into the one population that has a ton of intimate contact with strangers and also travels a lot, gay men in large cities in Europe.
Breathe On Moi Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 nah, the gays are drinking urine at 15 ppl orgies, monkeypox is truly not enough of a punishment tbh

Blue Rose Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Yeah i feel like I knew this since I was a kid. Most diseases come from a lab. But the resurgence of it in 2022 feels planned. Given all the money corporations made from covid, I wouldn’t put it past them to unleash another virus that forces people to isolate again. But the symptoms of monkeypox affect how you look, so I think people will take it more seriously than covid. I predict we will get another viral infection in a year or two again

Planet Mars Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Yes, and hopefully it destroys the gays like it's meant to. Thankfully I'm an ex-homosexual, have left that lifestyle, and no longer stan Beyoncé.

Jagger Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 It's weirdly timed, yes. Corporations did make so much money off of Covid and they are straight up evil so I would not put it past them to want a repeat of this mess but idk about it being made in a lab since it's been around for a while. This seems more natural than Covid did. And also before Covid we always had a virus scare of the year. I just feel like everything is 10x more sensationalized now after the pandemic. If that never happened this would probably just be the year's swine flu, ebola, or mrsa Btw how does global warming increase pandemics? I'm genuinely curious because I've heard this before but I just can't see the connection in my mind lol. Viruses thrive in heat?
AlanRickman1946 Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Some scientists think the recent outbreak of hepatitis in children is due to their immune systems being weak due to 2 years of social isolation. Could this be related?
