Shelter Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 I remember ATRL saying Lizzo had a flop with this BMS
Roberto Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 OMG yes, Lizzo! Without BB, she would have been #1 in both charts (I'm kinda mad about it, ngl), but this is a strong start.
BnPac Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Congrats Lizzo. Sad she couldn't do a double. BMS. Maybe some promo will kick in eventually...The album is out in mere days.
Hector Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 So happy for Lizzo Running Up That Hill #3 even though it should have been #1 already.
Ger Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Congratulations Lizzo, this one really feels like a #1 hit, so it deserves it. Ended the Meghan Trainor curse. Mrs Kate Bush reaching new peak almost 2 months after the historic resurgence, such a fascinating success to follow, incredible. Unfourtanely, I think that's going to be its peak, although prove me wrong legend. Beyoncé's stability. HW at #8, yeah, that's a classic right there.
Bacardo Royale Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 So happy for Lizzo, I hope to see her snatch even more #1s in future
LastKiss Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 And people said she was gonna be a one era wonder Miss Lizzo is doing THAT
AMIT Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Happy for all of the girls in the Top 10. Both Lizzo and Kate in the Top 3 is so amazing to see!
fridayteenage Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 (edited) other #1s this decade that failed to crack the streaming top 5: Watermelon Sugar (63k +614%) Franchise (98k) Savage Love (76k +814%) Life Goes On (150k) Permission to Dance(140k) My Universe (127k) So lizzo has the most radio payola fueled #1 this decade so far, with her 14k sales. Oh wow.
Soda Pop Queen Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 I love this for Lizzo and I love seeing 3 different generations of female artists sitting comfortably in the top 10. When was the last time that happened? It's so cool.

She had 2.4 k TEA, which I expected better given her past digital success. But Bad Bunny had under 1000 sales & TEA COMBINED last 2 weeks (at least) & he's still #1 with over 100k units??? No one has payed for his album or its songs in weeks yet it just gets a boatload of streams to stay #1. I don't get it which is part of why the music charts don't interest me right now. I'll sign back out, just popping in briefly & I'm gone again. 17 hours ago, spree said: i agree. "Units" are stupid. Billboard created them cuz the music industry collapsed. Make it make sense. but you see the fact that his songs were listened to 143 million times in a week, comparing to 37 milion times of Lizzo tracks? that's something and that's why he's 1, we live in 2022, not 2002; album sales are impressing, yes, but charts shows how people listen to music. I personally don't have any device that I would be able to listen to music on CD - my laptop doesn't have cd-room place, my car has only usb and blutooth options, no cd. it's 2022.
Pepo Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 So happy for Lizzo and Beyoncé, two talented black queens who keep quality music afloat
