The architect of pop

Basically. Gave us the biggest girl group and boy band of the 2000s, one of the biggest male artists, Harry Styles and introduced two of the biggest female artists, Lady Gaga and Rihanna, to the world.

Not Liam being delusional since the start :rip:

Liam claimed Simon create 1D for him but it was obvious, Nicole picked the boys based on their potential & visual. Simon was not even sure if it will work

This is kinda insane to watch. Nicole casually forming (or at least having a large say in the creation of) one of the biggest boybands ever. Like she just had the right intuition, from the idea to create a band with the almost-rejected soloists to even suggesting Liam would be better in the group when Simon pushed back. She turned out right in the end. What an icon! :smitten:

remind me so much about myth lost article/news long ago about how simon fuller chose 'spice girls' audition and pick up each girl to represent the widest broad range of teen favorite which eventually went successful as known (posh for sexy, scary for fun, sporty for energetic, baby for cute, ginger for confident).

this just wow, everything went so fast too, they look so cute :gaycat:. not wagner there too :toofunny3: novelty act btw

This is the 2nd time that Nicole goes viral within a few days :rip: She better capitalize and release NOW. This is the most promo she can get at this point.

Come and collect your flowers, underrated queen. It's been a LONG time coming.

She needs to release this :jonnycat:

Nicole and Kelly Rowland get on my LAST NERVE. :skull:  They are so talented putting groups together, but can’t find material for themselves for **** :rip:

But they got the eye for talent/image/marketing.  :clap3:

Wow the history in the making in real time

Is this how it felt when the presidents signed the Declaration of Independence?

Seems like Nicole can be a great mentor.

She was an excellent mentor. Did you watch X Factor UK? All the contestants she mentored praised her for her dedication to bettering them and her professionalism. Hannah Barrett said she's the only judge that kept contact with contestants.

It's sad that gay pop stan world pushes a different narrative.

Its insane that she has the ability to create 6 MASSIVE musical careers but failed to give one to herself its :toofunny3:

Well you can be talented and sing, but your voice won’t make you famous but you have the ability to train someone to become a successful singer.

I think she definitely has an eye for success, however she cannot be one. Just like Robin Anton can dance, but no one wants to watch her dance, but she can choreograph and assemble an amazing cast.

Exactly. To be successful people have to identify and like you. People don't like Nicole. In fact, they find any way to undermine her. It's weird. :skull:

This was bootcamp sis (2nd stage after auditions), Cher Lloyd was approved to head into the next stage of the comp which is Judges Houses.

Its so funny how much talent the 2010 XF series generated. Cher Lloyd was a Millenial icon! Swagger Jagger alone >>>

----

The fact that it was between Cher Lloyd, One Direction and Matt idk his last name for the crown and Cher and 1D became big names (Cher had I Want U Back lets not play)

It's kind of shady of Simon to have never corrected the public's perception that he was basically solely responsible for 1D's creation :skull: I always thought Demi was being weird whenever they'd go out of their way to aggressively remind everyone they helped create 5H, but now I get it if 5H had a similar creation process to 1D :rip:

He did have one of the best auditions not only that year but also a few years before when he was asked to come back. Maybe cocky would be a better word
