In the US? Nope. Is it that terrible? I’ve only been to NYC, DC and LA so I don’t really know :psyduck:

I’ve been to both the rural areas in Mexico and The US and they are basically the same :skull:

Big difference is that Mexico at least has those magic towns in rural areas that are beautiful.

And education SUCKS in The US, it’s definitely a developing country.

But if you have been only to cities like nyc or la I understand why you would think it’s more developed.

The US has both extremes in the same country

Moved from a very developed city in a developing country (Dallas) to a very developed country (Netherlands). I can't say I notice a difference in level of development between the cities, but as was said upthread, as soon as you get deep into the countryside, the difference is insane

I just don't understand how this map was made, because in Chile is the same thing and is marked as developed. Public education and healthcare are awful, it's more dangerous everyday, minimum wage is a joke, etc. Only people with a bigger purchasing power can live a decent life, because it's expensive as **** too.

Chile is developing, maybe even going a bit backwards with everything that’s happening right now (politics, economics, new constitution).

According to that random png from google images, I live in a developed country... :rip:

I mean sure, Chile is one of the most privileged countries in Latam in some aspects and all but we're very much FAR from being fully developed or anything like that

Can't be worse than that old constitution that was established during a dictatorship :cm:
