TLC was done even before Lefteye's passing. If her passing couldn't benefit their sales then nothing else would've.

Which culture are you referring to exactly? 
 

Maybe in Europe (even then that’s questionable), but definitely not in America and Africa. And the SG were certainly not more culturally bigger with black people

The impact the SG's had with only 2 albums and only a few years. DC has way more material and way more years under their belt...the struggle that it took this long

DC was the most global black GG of all time and spawned far more hits across Europe, as evidenced by their stronger overall performance on streaming. Album sales are the only metric SG outdid them in and nobody here was arguing otherwise. Let's not.
