Anyway, how embarrassing for the flight attendant.  Simone is literally the greatest athlete of all time and is super recognizable, I'm not sure how anyone could think she's a child.

Simone went undefeated in the all-around for 7 years.  The hardest skill on 3 of the 4 events are all skills she originated.  She's in a league of her own and definitely deserves the title of GOAT

They're not wrong. She's certainly the best gymnast and one of the greatest female athletes ever but i don't feel you can say she's better than people like Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Usain Bolt, Pelé or even Michael Phelps.

I'm aware of all the stats but you still haven't answered my question.

 

Whether gymnasts are considered athletes you apparently think is subjective, I guess? Which is fine, I don't care, but that's what I was talking about.

Simone has 19 World Championships gold medals, 25 overall.  She is only gymnast in the modern era to win 4 gold medals in the same Olympics at a fully attended Olympics.  She's also the only gymnast of the modern era to win every World and Olympic all-around title in the same quad.  She's introduced such difficult skills that her eponymous beam skill and her two vaults have only been attempted by her. She won 2019 Worlds by over two points over 2nd, the largest gap in history.

 

None of the others you listed truly compare if you break down how the stats work in each sport.
