That being, Nicki just did an AMP show where she basically told the barbz to relax and stop asking for alternate versions, vinyls, physical copies etc. She said the literal President of Republic literally calls her to talk about how the song is doing & how they are being strategic with the release and with Billboard’s new rules, and that trying to debut #1 was never the goal when she released the song. Regardless, Republic is super excited with how it’s performing worldwide and she said to just have fun with the music and buy/stream what’s out if you really wanna push it.

These numbers are so impressive, if she gets an actual #1 that would be groundbreaking. Would be nice if it could stay consistent and keep up the numbers for a few weeks though of people are just gonna keep pushing the #1 achievement meaningless these days, especially with what’s #1 rn.
