Well Nicki’s version of events is that she just released this as a snippet of the album to thank the fans after Wireless in the UK went well (and she came out late as hell). 
 

Republic then sees the snippets going viral as heck and organically taking off on tiktok and basically force her to drop it. The song literally didn’t even get a name until last week. It’s been a messy build up but at least this moment of the drop has been pretty decent playlisting and stuff.
 

I wonder if the song will do anything more on tiktok now that it’s actually out.
