Beyonnaise Posted July 12, 2022 Share Posted July 12, 2022 As a Taylor stan I can say the stan-like behavior of RS toward her and Harry (mainly from Rob Sheffield but in general) over the last few years has been excessive and weird. Like I appreciate that they were among the first critics to openly laud and appreciate Red when other critics were stuck in their 2012 opinions about it, but it's cringey to see them fawn over everything she does. Critics should be able to delineate between clunky missteps like ME!th and phenomenal masterpieces like Folklore. Sheffield made it sound like they were one in the same.
