#2 seems worse since it's just one spot away from #1. Going Top 10 is still desirable, but I think peaking at #11 wouldn't be such a bad thing by comparison.

Well, depends. I'd rather have 11-11-11-11-11 than 2-40-96. Overall, tho, a top 2 hit just means you're song is huge, so I guess I'd always pick that over #11
