No it's codeword for it's 2022 and this type of event can't take place when there is this type of tech outage. Hardly rocket science

Not an entire country like Canada being reliant on a single service provider. They even had emergency phone lines impacted by it.  So what happens when a major blackout or any big catastrophic event happens? No backups??  :bibliahh:

Welcome to Canada. It’s a third world country pretending to be first world.

And here are the haters...

Y'all realize they need wifi to scan tickets to let people into the venue, right? It's not just about them being cash only. And for those fans who don't have 4G/5G, they need internet to show their ticket.

But hey, try to bash him with your nonsense.

Another Canadian here to reiterate it’s a nation wide problem. Cell phones down, debit and credit machines (so cash only), internet, tv cable, 911 services in some regions, it’s a mess.

Rogers is really a monopoly here and they own basically all the infrastructure (along with Bell, who also have their own lines and are still up). All other companies and services lease one of their two infrastructures so a big monopoly like Rogers going down has basically shut down half our services.

People were gathering around Starbucks like rats! all day today :mazen:

I'm in Canada and this is a total mess. I couldn't buy my lunch so I had to go to a bank to get cash and people were flooding the place. Most of my friends are on Rogers and they can't get a hold of anyone. 911 emergency services are down in lots of places. It's really crazy so I totally understand the concert being cancelled.

I work at a bank and atms are down. So even finding a bank that was still running was a challenge ?
