Problems with skin texture + tiny bumps on face

I know there's a specific thread on skincare but it is dead as hell so I decided to talk about something that's been really bothering me lately which happens to be tiny bumps like the ones showed below:

Fungal Acne? All over face and neck, itches and burns. : r/Fungalacne

I did a research and found out that it could possibly be fungal acne which is easy to treat with Nizoral and ketoconazole based products but has someone on here ever suffered from this? If so, does it work? I'm still not 100% sure if it's actually fungal acne or maybe just closed comedones due to high oily exposure (moisturizers)

Looks like an allergic reaction or something but in general this is beyond amazing for skin texture

Does it itch? If so then yes it’s probably “fungal acne” but you should still go to a dermatologist to make sure.

Hmmm. That does look like an allergic reaction to me too. It seems inflamed.

Did you switch to a new cleanser or moisturizer recently? Does your skin feel sensitive or burning?

I like using Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser because it’s very mild. Stratus Liquid Gold is a great facial moisturizer, especially if your skin is sensitive.

Discontinue all products for a while, it’s definitely allergic

I wouldn't say it itches maybe around the mouth or nose

It's weird because it's mostly around the region where my facial hair happens to grow (maybe it has some ingrown hair problems too?) I recently used ciclapast b5 and it seemed that it got worse.

That’s really interesting about the facial hair. I didn’t have a good experience with Cicaplast B5 either, despite its great reviews.  It made my skin redder and more inflamed when I used it. All La Roche Posay moisturizers made my skin inflamed.

You should stop all actives you’re using and  start using a basic cleanser and moisturizer for now. Nothing that can further irritate your skin. Vanicream Facial Cleanser and CeraVe moisturizing cream are good, fungal acne safe and great for sensitive skin.

I Second this! I love most of the ordinarys products and they have helped me have clear and consistently healthy looking skin.

I bought some many products due to my ingrown hair problems (I need to shave almost everyday) that maybe it really got into my pores and made those bumps show up...

I actually felt like Ciclapast made my skin feel smoother and hydrated but when I took pictures and saw how my face looked it kinda of made me want to throw it out.

In any case, I bought some antifungal meds + stopped using any kind of moisturizer. If it actually goes away after one month, it is fungal. It it doesn't, I seriously don't know what else to do

First thing I would recommend is to try limiting your skincare before it heals, just some cleanser, moisturizer and of course sunscreen.

If it doesn't help, go to dermatologist, they will help you find the cause.

Omg yes this is so good!!!

(But OP dont use this before trying other options, it can burn quite a lot if you have sensitive skin. If you really want to try it, I would recommend first using Lactic acid for few weeks(once a week), just to get your skin use to it. The ordinary has a really nice lactic ones as well.)

That sounds like a good plan. I hope the antifungal meds help. It does look similar to fungal acne, so you may be right.
