True Colors is also killing it by her. It will cross 200 million soon. Shes an 80s staple and her hits hold up much better than a lot of her contemporaries

All the girls with classics in the top 20 :clap3:

Madonna. :deadbanana4:

Why do these all feel low???
Janet deserves better :/

Posted

no madonna in top 22.. just goes on to show that 80s and 90s pop star who were at the top were all media driven.. while true talents like cyndi lauper are slaying the streaming charts decades later

Posted

Madonna with more songs that anybody else. :clap3:

Posted

Legendary top 20. Whitney, Cyndi & Dolly.:clap3:

Kate Bush will be storming up the rankings. Also, Whitney with the highest solo song, 800m+ that's more than some artist's songs combined:jonny:

All those classics :jonny:They don't make them like they used to :chick3:

Why I always remembered Funkytown as a male song :rip:

lemme add these three later

Madonna 8 songs in the top 100, that's what happens when you have a timeless catalogue and don't just rely on 1 or 2 big hits :clap3:

This made me realize Madonna doesnt really have a mega BIG classic hit like whitney has i will always love you and i wanna dance with somebody, celine dion has my heart will go on. why does madonna not have that :deadbanana4:

To be fair that was kinda the only thing they had over Madonna since she has the overall album and touring sales over them. Not to mention Madonna's last #1 came after Whitney and Celine's last #1.

to be fair madonna had mega hits in the 80s and 90s we cant even deny it. its just the fact that her music didnt really transition into the digital age that well. i feel like papa don't preach, like a prayer, material girl, take a bow etc. should all have similar streams to whitneys catalog.

Forgotten streaming poison Madonna :clap3:

Whitney :jonnycat: Technically the highest female solo single of the 80s wow
