I wholeheartedly think the Renaissance cover is better, as far as an album cover goes.

 

The vogue cover looks like a magazine cover, and the album cover is clean, iconic, to-the-point.

 

There is a magic, mythic quality to it and it works as a small thumbnail or enlarged.

 

Also, it very much fits into the style of simplicity that Beyoncé has made her own for many album covers now since 2013.

I really don't get how anyone can dislike the album cover though. It's ... like... jawdroppingly stunning. A successor to DIL in terms of the way it draws you in.

 

And multiple people calling it "tacky"? lol how? where? it looks rich!

I would die for the Vogue cover to be the album cover. Imo it fits so well. 

The album cover serves something Nicki Minaj or Cardi would do (no offence to those ladies, it just seems off for Beyonce).
