Airhead Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Very patient. And if I go out to eat with you and you are rude to the waiter/server I will never eat out with you again.
Gladiator Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 I've always been. I grew up in the food service industry.
ArtForFreedom Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 yes being in the food service industry is a dogs life
Beyondslay Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Yes. I've worked in a restaurant before and it's not easy dealing with public all the time.

ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted June 28, 2022 ATRL Moderator Posted June 28, 2022 I'm a very patient person in general, so yeah. I also used to be a server back from 2015-2018 so I sympathize with the workload most servers have. Honestly, people make mistakes. If someone makes a mistake politely let them know and have it fixed. You shouldn't really be going out to a restaurant to have a wine & dine experience if you're on a time crunch anyway (though I understand it can be inconvenient).
Vitaly Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 I always do, until some of them putting up an attitude for whatever reasons. Usually in a rather posher establishment. Then I will pull this
discosean Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Yes. If they do somehow get something wrong for my order, I am polite about getting it corrected.
James_Dean Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Very patient. You don't **** with ppl that make your food
Donquizote Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Yes. My parents dont raise me to be rude to servers or underpaid people. Instant turn off to anyone who I go out with for date yet they are rude to servers

It's good to keep a positive respectful attitude imo
PMKARDASHIAN Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Imagine NOT being patient/polite with servers. Even if the service is absolute GARBAGE I’m still polite and still tip well. I’ve been with people who have no business being in restaurants and they’re so embarrassing. If you can’t behave or tip then stick to drive throughs or eat at home.

Likingstars Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Yes. If I go on a date and they’re rude to the server I will never see them again
TaggedGalaxy Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 I’ve always been patient with servers and waiters. I’ve also learned to be patient with call center people after working in one during one of my summer breaks. There’s no need to treat someone who is overworked and underpaid like ****
John Slayne Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 I've always been. Plus I worked fast food and service jobs when I was in school so I know those jobs are crap.
Douglas Booth Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 I would slap and kick my server in the groin if they are a minute late
Oktober Knight Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Absolutely, I have always been patient with them. And if the place is short staffed and our server is slammed and overwhelmed, we always leave an extra tip. These people work harder than most of us ever will.
