There's literally people IN prison because part of the f*ckery that went around behind the scenes with bribes and stuff came out, this happened YEARS AGO yet nobody ever suggested to redo the whole submission process? What surprises me is that media is taking ZERO interest in this stuff. LIKE ZERO. They hosted the Club World Cup back in February which is a short tournament format and lowkey kinda irrelevant, but the world cup host nation usually always hosts it the year of the world cup to use it as training for the big event and a Mexican woman, WHO WAS LITERALLY SENT THERE BY FIFA, got jailed because she reported SA, and they sent her to prison on the charges of out-of-wedlock sex. An NGO smuggled her out the country.

I went to University with a guy whose father was a former Prime Minister of Qatar. He was gay AF, partied very hard and used his outrageous monthly allowance buying everyone drugs.

 

Then he'd go back to Qatar and post pictures of himself in a Kandurah around all these powerful political figures.  His family didn't mind him being gay, but he was 100% expected to continue being a devout Muslim and keep up appearances.

I know, we had a lesson at uni about the whole bidding process a few years ago and the things I read were mind boggling. Even Russia was involved in some questionable things back in 2018.
