A couple of examples include his inaction towards the border crisis, inaction in regards to rising energy costs (because he doesn't want to piss off climate activists), talking about "EVs" constantly, his persistence with the rather progressive "build back better," b*tching about corporate greed and the wealthy "paying their fair share" is a classic progressive talking point, imposing vaccine mandates on employers, considering race/gender/sexuality as a factor when hiring people for his administration, introducing the dystopian "disinformation governance board," etc. All of these approaches are rather progressive so, of course, they have only negatively affected his approval ratings, so now he is more unpopular than Trump ever was.
