Gradually, turn your walking exercise to running/jogging for 20 minutes. Do this everyday if you could. Once you get used to it, do simple exercise like weightlifting (start with 3 kg dumbbell) and push ups/ sit ups. Once you are comfortable, gradually opt for something more strenuous. Thanks, sis <3
Chaos Angel Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 (edited) Write down the negative thoughts first so they are on paper and not in my mind, then meditate or go for a run. You have to do something to get out of your mind and into your body. Mental distractions like watching TV and going on my phone can come later but it can’t only be that because my thoughts will come back even stronger later. Also, practice gratitude! Write down things you are thankful for to shift yourself into a more positive mindset. Often times we are so focused on one negative thing when there’s so much more positive aspects in our life that we ignore. Edited June 27, 2022 by Chaos Angel

John Slayne Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Exercise, writing, spending some time with my friends, listening to good music, spending time outside... A cup of tea always works wonders for me. It's not a cure to your problems, but a nice cup of tea makes every situation slightly better.
