Can't help but feel this way the entire time I'm reading this. Like...it's slightly rock-tinged (barely) MOR and coffeehouse adult contemporary she's been doing for what seems like forever. Either because she's a mom now and it's by choice or is being forced to by her label to a degree...I don't know. 

 

Maybe it'd seem odd as she's not in that place anymore being a content mom but I'd always wished she'd channel this clear frustration into things like her album tracks on Try This as her voice would be incredible on a harder rock or alternative pop sound with lyrics that aren't too cheesy.

I mean, you can have your preferences, but the connection between adult contemporary pop and Republican fans is made up in your head. Hundreds of artists do AC stuff, but P!nk is always singled out as "pandering" when her music is just very compatible to all kinds of people. She should not change her art because Republicans happen to listen to her music. How toxic is that? She is and has been speaking about her political views for decades, what more do you want?
