The Bone Collecter

It's Angelina Jolie's best movie. Incredible cast including Queen Latifah and Denzel Washington. Great 90s aesthetics. On the edge of my seat the whole time. It had 9 year old me SHOOK to fall at sleep at night when I first watched it on TV.

Ughhhh yessss this classic :jonnycat: such an uplifting holiday film about the working class. They don't do movies like this anymore :jonny:

So far now Queen Latifah got two for two 10/10 films in her filmography. A comedy and a thriller. The RANGE! IKTR!

Ugh, this movie is pop perfection. I saw it like 3 times, so simple yet effective, it's like a warm hug and makes you feel better every time. They don't make movies like this anymore.

Ring.

It's got great atmosphere; the director made very smart changes when adapting from the original novel (which is also great); and the acting is superb.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire

Gay, amazing tension building, beautiful gowns, wonderful ending, deeply moving, great performances, stunning cinematography, strong writing, love the Criterion Collection cover.

Yes OMG yes honestly Lord Of The Rings is a cathartic experience which can't really be recreated even though people try.

The original Scream is about as good as it gets. Scream 4 came close and would probably be a 10/10 for me too had it not had that horrid filter and ended where it was supposed to.

Id say Jurassic Park and Halloween too. Legally Blonde has got to be close as well but I’m gonna end up just naming every movie I like :rip:

I used to watch this movie every day as a child because I had shitty internet and had it downloaded onto my laptop lol it’s pretty good.

The Fountain. Probably the most gorgeous movie I've ever seen, a true experience and the score is amazing. That final scene is my favorite scene in cinematic history.
