Donquizote Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 Drake Joji Not a good look for BMS at #32. Stupid Love outsold.
Dula Peep Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 The way Joji literally came out of nowhere with this good song but not even his best and is smashing like this I don’t get it

*-ChriZ-* Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 (edited) Only 2.5 half days of tracking. Thats an amazing debut Edited June 24, 2022 by *-ChriZ-*

Dreajae Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 Looking at the positions of BMS in Australia is interesting. Itunes #3 Spotify #5 AM#3 Shazam #18 Deezer #80 For comparison Drakes highest charting song from his album. Spotify #4 AM #4 Shazam #35 #Deezer #51 Bey needs to seize the day with this song. Very strong.

Very strong. Australia is a very strong market for Bey, let‘s not forget she‘s #3 of best selling females of all time there.

Lovett Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 #32 after 2.5 days of tracking? It's going to fly up the chart next week!

Single Ladies and Halo have a lot of streams, I'll give you that, but the highest selling females in Australia would be Madonna (by a country mile), then probably P!nk, Adele, Nana Mouskouri...

And where are your receipts? They posted there's and you're saying "probably". You named 5 people which would still put Bey in a teir of best selling, right? .

Yet she's the third highest certified female in Australia. So your random aggression at Chris' correct statement was completely unwarranted. Your assumption on who has allegedly sold more is pretty irrelevant...
Ger Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 Joji Such a beautiful song, very surprised a ballad is slaying like this at this moment of the year, but truly here for it. Bey with only 2-3 days (I think?), she's definetely going up everywhere next week.

You named 5 people which would still put Bey in a teir of best selling, right? . No not at all... Beyonce would make top 20/top 30 probably when it comes to total sales in Australia for females. Madonna Mariah Delta Celine Shania Alanis Whitney P!nk Kylie Norah Susan Adele Taylor Tina Arena Have all sold more albums with one album than all of Beyonce's album discography combined, so then you'd have to go to singles - she's had maybe 5 multi-platinum certified singles, but then they'd added all the streams for Halo and Single Ladies which boost certifications a lot... so it's impossible to say. But she is definitely not the #3 biggest selling female artist of all time in Australia. Certifications based on streams are cute if you're into that kind of thing though, so I'm comfortable to say Halo is one of the most streamed songs ever in Australia

I know, I know, streams are now counted as sales, blah blah... whatever makes you happy

Beyonce, the underground musician of the last 25 years according ATRL. Gotcha.
