Its pretty standard media clickbait headline. The fact that he kind of has a "rags to riches" story is the bait so theyll use it in the headline.

Rags-to-riches is a very common theme in headlines; it drives clicks. People love to see underdogs who have been through a lot succeed. I would give The Post the benefit of the doubt here, some of these posts seem very gaslight-y, though I understand black people are often portrayed negatively in headlines. But anyway congrats to him! That’s a huge achievement.
