touch Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Try to look fresher Try to live better I gotta get out of bed I need a good kick, kick in the head
OnMyCoolJ Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Grapefruit is the best song on the album. What a delicious bop.
Tyrion_LMG Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 (edited) First official listen on Apple Music with my Airpods Max and what an experience. What a pop excellence, what a production and what an amazing artist she is. I have no words to express how much I love this record. I have loved a lot of great albums this year, but this one makes me really really happy. Edited October 13, 2022 by Tyrion_LMG

revivval Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Yeah chorus from Grapefruit is so explosive and catchy but the problem here is a bit with verses i mean they are not really bad but they should be more uptempo
messybottom Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 damn near creamed myself over shite quality leak and i’ll have lossless in a few hours. not ready for the chokehold she’ll have me in all week

State of Grace. Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Finally spamming on Spotify truly a zero skips album

tiagol88 Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Not her doing another no-skip album I'm on I'm To Blame and omfg
TrueBlood Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 On first listen, I think it may be her best album and one of the best dance-pop (if not the best) records of the year. It definitely blew away my expectations. The SG Lewis tracks are both euphoric, especially Call on Me. I wish he would have produced even more tracks. It's definitely closer to Lady Wood than any other album, maybe that's why I also like it so much.

I would 100000% be there. I think Lady Wood is my favorite pop album of all time.

ARTPØP Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 This album is an easy 10/10 for me. True Romance and Cute & Cruel are my least faves, but I still like them a lot! I just wish she added the music video version of "No One Dies From Love" with the bridge as an extra track. I know the bridge's lyrics are a little corny, but it gives the song more depth and more emotion. (even tho NODFL is perfect as is, regardless)
gloamingtheplain Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Listening to the album in full I love every song except Suburbia. It’s a beautiful instrumental and melody but the lyrics feel clunky and almost feel like they don’t work with the sound? But the rest is fire ?

I'd even get a plane ticket and hotel if it wasn't in my country. the emotional attachment i have to that record is indescribable!
