Can confirm I know this to be true from knowing some great queens from Sydney have turned down being on the show.

 

This show is such a poor representation of Aus/NZ drag. The drag culture here really doesn’t fit the Rupaul format.

I wasn't into this franchise after S1, but I decided to give S2 a go and I loved it so damn much! Spankie was my favorite from episode one and I hate that someone spoiled she was gonna win, cause I thought Hannah had it in the bag. 

 

S3 looks okay so far, Ivory is such a mess and I think Hollywould is the most likely winner so far.

I love season 3 so far. It looks and feels just like American Drag Race seasons 1-2 and that makes it PERFECT in my eyes. This might become one of my favorite seasons ever.

At least the down under girls are entertaining because yeah the production quality and experience of the queens this season is… interesting.

 

I really hope if we get another season it gets a huge revamp, we need queer au/nz persons producing the show, we need Courtney there, and we need the format to be tweaked to better suit the down under queens.

Most of the cast is so unlikable except Gabriella, I don’t see anyone but her winning, especially since Ru loves her and says her name differently

Hollywould and Isis are surefire top 3/4 but I have no idea how the rest of the season will shake out

Gabriella turned it this week, her look was a little basic but well put together and actually looked like a cohesive garment. The bottoms two looks were… not that

Y’all need to stop with Hollywould is a mean girl/Hollywould is unlikeable. Like god forbid a fierce black queen comes in with a bit of confidence and wants to tap into the shady tv drama of it all.

 

Ive worked with her a few times and she is extremely sweet and friendly, clearly she is playing up her drag character for the show, and honestly I’m a bit sick of the confident and ‘shady’ POC queens being clocked as arrogant or unlikeable.

In what way shape or form is Hollywould ANYWHERE close to a mean girl. She is confident. And not even in an arrogant () way, like she came in knowing how to serve and serve she did! She hasn’t made a single mean spirited comment and actually decided to take the high road multiple times girls came for her. 
 

I like this cast. If the season is gonna be a little crunchy at least give us drama and so far they are. It feels like if season 1-4 was filmed today (with current fashion and energy). 

Ivory bottoming twice in a row but still getting the main storyline  I like her. She’s genuine and STUN just has gotten really unlucky and in her head. I think Gabriella is gonna pick up steam soon and make it far. Flor has star quality!

both lip syncs could have been double sashays but it made NO sense to keep Rita instead of Ivanna. Then the challenge and runway were TERRIBLE too? What is going ON

But also this was one of the worst improv challenges ever, Jesus that was painful. Did they even mention the challenge when justifying Gabriella’s win?
