I don't agree with the layoffs due to overstaffing but lbr those jobs are not important for a company like Tesla

To create a more inclusive environment for those that are interested in joining the sector.
 

We need people in those position to regulate the progress and create opportunities for people who otherwise won’t get those opportunities largely because of unconscious bias training.

u don't create a new sector to promote diversity tho, that's the same as putting all the different people in a different school so they won't be "left out"

 

different people should be integrated, not put in their own "special" environment

The reason why they exist is because people at the top level obviously aren’t doing a good enough job. This is why people from lower socioeconomic backgrounds might find it difficult to get the jobs they deserve… all because they didn’t go to the right schools or their personal experiences are different. I do agree with the fact the people should be hired based on what they can offer and their passion, but it’s equally as important to have a diverse workforce.

Well, obviously? He made it clear that he wants to completely change company culture, and you can't do that without firing people.

 

Besides, since his twitter acquisition is based on freedom of expression, it makes sense that he'll fire those responsible for whatever departments are aimed at deciding what kind of expression is punishable, which is basically what LGBT departments do. Hopefully he'll extinguish it altogether.

Tesla Technology is failing to match the hype around it. Their stock is going to plummet soon when people start realising that and Elon is in panic Mode trying to appeal to the Republicans and quickly get a vice president nomination before the truth about his fraud comes out.  

 

Unlike democrats, republicans are extremely easy to please. All you have to do is throw some subtly racist, homophobic, transphobic and classist paroles and talk about how being “woke” is the worst thing in the world and they’re going to blindly support you.

 

I expect he has about a year until the truth about Tesla starts coming out and being a big story in the mainstream,  so he’s just going to get more desperate and more vocal trying to appeal to the DeSantis and Trump train.

Yeah and also literally every car company is coming out with a luxury EV this year (like the Cadillac Lyriq, etc.) and pretty much all are going to be way more impressive than Tesla's so they really won't be that special anymore. I think that's why he's teasing so much over buying Twitter, he wants to remain relevant.

It'd be a pretty basic administration adjacent to HR. Those people wouldn't be "put in a special place" to promote diversity - it'd be people who craft company-wide policies related to Human Resources and the management of employees related to ensuring the company is both following all anti-discrimination laws related to sexuality/gender and are promoting what corporations promote as "diverse workspaces".
