Hey! The interview you quoted was from Friday’s show, but she also had an interview yesterday (Sunday) on the Capital Big Top 40 chart! I’ve had a look and can’t see that this has been posted online, though.

Currently, I don't think it's going to chart anywhere except maybe at like #60 in the UK and maybe on the New Zealand Heatseeker's Chart

 

The main reason for this is because the song's playliusting is absolutely ****. Like really really bad. It's not even on Today's Top Hits Spotify playlist

That is so sad. I don't play close attention to the charts normally but I've heard her get a lot of radioplay etc. before (I'm in the UK btw) I would have expected her dropping a new single (and i assume starting a new era?)  that fans like would be at least top #20 for her 

 

Why the label isn't pushing ha into playlisting? I assume they can just buy placements?

 

Casuals using playlists lowkey bothers me. I've got a friend who runs a business purely of getting accounts with big spotify playlists then selling placements, and that's just my friend using fan-made playlists, not playlists maintained by the platforms themselves.

AM is much better cause they put her in the A List Pop playlist and some others
