The fan-made edit of the zoomed out shot colorized like the album cover is perfection.

The first 4 are her better ones imo but BOMT Europe version. The rest like you said,  just ain’t it.

BOMT EU version is so ugly. The US one is perfect.

This is probably her weakest covers. There is literally nothing special or unique about this cover.

I actually think it’s one of her best. It’s not trying to do too much. And it immediately pulls you in. She’s got the star presence to pull off an intimate shot like this and make it compelling, which not every artist does.

It’s copying Bjork’s debut cover (prob not intentional though)

Britney beauty peak tbh. That cover looks amazing.

The hair, font and photo editing is very mid 2000s

But it's kind of a flex to just have the album cover be your unadorned face, she's not even wearing much make-up compared to the cubic inches of paint the girls have on these days

Britney's facial structure is truly immaculate

Its actually one of her worst tbh and aged horribly.

the tragic font choice and colour choices

Does it? it reminds me of the awful blue filter some 90s movies used. :rip:

Id say this cover aged better and its from 1999

That blue color fits the vibe of the album perfectly. I see that color every time I listen to songs like Breathe On Me, Touch Of My Hand, Everytime, Don't Hang Up, etc.

 It's so sensual.

I do prefer this version that's not as zoomed in:

Y'all need to stop lying. If a girl came out today with just a headshot and basic font, y'all would be dragging it calling it lazy :deadbanana2:

Her beauty, expression and the blue color give it a mystical aura. It's a captivating cover. You can't help but stare at it even though it's just her face. It matches the atmosphere of the album, especially with songs like Breathe on Me, Touch of My Hand, Early Mornin and Showdown giving the same eery vibe.

The font and colour look carefully chosen.

The font is called Empire and if from Hoefler & Co., a very renowned and respected typeface foundry, and the price of it starts at $169.00 at the lowest (it could go up to over $1000.00 if licensed for 3 computers). It is not some dafont looking free typeface.

The colour is blue, but it’s not quite standard blue, there is a dustiness to it, and almost a touch of blue giving it an almost Blué feeling. It’s by no means a standard swatch blue that takes no consideration.

Perhaps you don’t do this for a living, and perhaps you’ve never seen the full Vinyl design for In The Zone where the simplicity and beauty of the design really comes through, but regardless, it’s okay to dislike it, its not going to be to everyone’s tastes, but it’s by no means a tragic cover to be listed in a grouping of poor album covers. You can quote this all you want but it won't change the above facts.
