Brooklyn Baby Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 (edited) With Certified Lover Boy and Honestly, Nevermind being deemed as lazy and uninspired, and releasing two failed attempts in a row to please different demographics, what's next for Drake?! Edited June 18, 2022 by Taeyong
Gorjesspazze9 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 He does sound like he is just sitting down chilling while singing, feels so stale. The instrumentals couldn’t save the album this time. Probably just take a 6 month break and give his fans another rap Ep
wantedyoutogrow Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 release a take care pt 2 or nwts part 2 aka his best albums
sugarysunflower Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 UMG just got to a point where they must have thought ‘it’s drake, whatever he puts out will hit. Let him do what he wants’ So in that case, drake needs to stop being around yes men and as a mid-late 30s man stop creating f**k boy / heartbreak / rap beef anthems with insipid beats and monotone delivery - and to create a holistic body of work with a central theme, ala J Cole, Kendrick, Kanye, Abel. go back to the drawing board. Take time out. Take time offline. but why would he bother when he gets paid for abysmal material. So don’t expect nothing to change.

xclusivestylesz Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Whatever is the name of that 10 min video he released is possibly the worst **** I've ever heard but It's not that serious.. carry on
Into The Void Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 It will still sell well and do good first day numbers its Drake lol
FOCK Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 I’m baffled at the “monotone” comments, like isn’t that Drake’s entire schtick? When has he not had a monotone or melancholic delivery?
Rev8 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 He started failing us all the way after Views if anything, Honestly,Nevermind is actually better than a lot of what he did these past few years

yeezytaughtme Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 He needs to make an album with a few 5AM In Toronto, or Tuscan Leather songs. That would go so hard and everyone would instantly love it like these songs.
Axolotl Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 (edited) The album would've been good if the mixing was better. Honestly, some production choices just take me out of it. Edited June 19, 2022 by Axolotl
