Selena Gomez drags Revival album cover

The standard cover was always better anyway

This happens all the time to us women, especially the sexual/revealing appearance, most of us as teens feel the need to appear a certain way, mostly because we let men decide how we should look like (indirectly, because we want to catch someone's attention or to be the it-girl and think we need to be sexual to do so), then later in our 20s we realize it wasn't genuine and we almost feel uncomfortable seeing that past version of ourself.

I hope this means YALL are gonna delete that album cover from your music libraries :biblio: and replace it with this ⬇️.

The album cover is artsy and her best cover. There’s nothing sexual about it.

came to say the exact same thing. but its her body so she's allowed to feel whatever she feels I guess

I never really saw it as "sexual" or anything. shame, its actually pretty iconic

why y'all always erasing "stars dance"? i've never seen any fanbase do that except selenators. such a weird vibe.

"come and get it" is her signature song and only VMA of her career.

why would y'all want to erase that?

I mean I get it, maybe at the time she felt like she needed to show that she had matured as an artist by doing it, first album with a new label and new sound of course a new image is going to come with it. Her peers had all changed up their images by that point too more drastically with Miley than Demi.

she needs to believe in herself more tho because madam was on fire that whole era physically and musically, it’s a shame she didn’t see herself in the way everyone else does.

Rare was a step down with that tragic standard cover but miss thang redeemed with the deluxe

They call it SG3 because it’s her third album out of HWR and from stanning Demi the one thing lovatics and Selenators can agree on is that HWR treat them both like dirt and only started really investing in them once Miley left but the damage was already done.

I love the cover because it shows confidence and vulnerability at the same time. And it makes sense she was "stripped" on the cover because it's her most personal album at the time and she wants to create an atmosphere of openness and honesty with her fans.

So hearing about how she actually feels about it makes me feel so much for her! It's natural to feel uncomfortable being naked especially if she was influenced to pose like that because I don't wanna be seen naked either.

I can understand what she’s trying to say, but also it’s literally one of the best things she’s ever done :deadbanana: not to mention, being naked doesn’t really equate to being sexual.

huh? no one's erasing stars dance :rip: she calls Rare SG2 and this new album SG3

this conversation has been discussed million times already :rip: Revival was her first album in interscope where she has most creative control in her work that's why she considers is SG1 but she never trash her past albums before Revival

for real. even the Revival Tour was a whole ass serve!

I always preferred the standard edition cover, felt it fit more with the album's aesthetic.

I don't understand what people are trying to say here. It doesn't matter if the picture is good or not, if it the end result is sexual or not.

The cover is tainted to her because she was pretty much forced to it. That must feel horrible even today

It's her best cover tho... :rip:

How are y’all going to tell HER how she’s allowed to feel and what the album cover was or wasn’t supposed to portray :gaycat6:

I appreciate the fact she’s talking about it today. It’s crazy what these young stars go through. We literally have no idea.
