Billboard's report states only ten other artists have now done the same. They also posted the Parachutes Tour averages for some kiis :fan:

I thought someone said the US dates were underperforming :deadbanana2: wow

And they were :gaycat6:

Only the two LA shows (which were cancelled) + the first dates from Chicago and East Rutherford were officially sold out before the actual concert was held. Compared to Europe (one million tickets sold in a day) and Latin America (records broken in almost all venues they scheduled), US was just not serving.

They are going to do a 2nd leg there? 12 shows seems short

Yes, Chris confirmed it on an interview.

I’m almost 100% sure Ed Sheeran has grossed over $1billion too.  If not he will cross that mark tomorrow.

I thought that they had already passed it, but considering Billboard only use reported numbers and they have a lot of unreported shows, makes sense.

I mean compared to the AHFOD tour where they'd have to downgrade some cities dates to arenas, this was a full stadium leg for the US so their demand has clearly increased. It's only going uphill from here, I fear.

If this was a pop girl you guys would be screaming at how this was a huge hit.

It's not an underperformance only because they are doing better in other continents :deadbanana:

In fact they sold out faster last time because they had the Superbowl, which they don't this time.

And they even had to downgrade to arenas in some places...this is 100% a stadium tour.

I know, I know. I'm just way too used to see them having an absolute CHOKEHOLD in other countries nnnnnnnnnn

Mkay if chromatica ball and other summer/fall shows + 2 festivals don’t bankrupt me I might get a cheap nosebleed to their show if they announce upcoming dates to see what this hype is all about cuz dang

You should buy Infinity Tickets. They are a (very) limited batch the band releases at every show for $20. The catch is that you don't get to find out your seat until the actual day and this option is only sold in pairs.

Speaking of prices, I just remembered the Billboard article mentioned the Coldplay ones decreased by 4% while average attendance grew by 8%, so not only more people are coming to shows, but they arguably have the most cost-effective ticket in the market.

Ooo thanks for the info. Hopefully they come back to the US though. Wasn’t able to catch any of their dates when they were here (honestly doubt they’ll visit my city)

These legends. :clap3:

Still hope one day I can see them live.

They should’ve added more dates in the UK, only doing six shows in London is not enough!

Schedule is too tight, they have two shows in Glasglow aside from Wembley though :gaycat6:

Next year I think they will do Manchester and Wales. They left out loads of places in Europe so I really doubt that’s the full Europe leg.

Beyoncé has grossed over $1 billion in touring. She became the third female artist ever to do it and the boxscores back that up. What're you doing? :deadbanana2:

Are you ok? The thread is talking about what Billboard said, and they said that 11 artists have reached the milestone. And Beyoncé is not one of them because she has $767 million, according to their reports. Read.

Are you ok? Billboard making a mistake in their article doesn't magically mean Beyoncé hasn't factually grossed over $1 billion in touring. :rip:

That’s true, I forgot about Glasgow! Still a bit shook especially since they’re from the UK themselves, and the tickets have been sold out so quickly.

I really hope so. I just don’t understand why they would leave out Manchester when they’ve played so many shows there in 2016z

I’d be surprised if they don’t. They still haven’t announced dates in Dublin, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark. All those shows were big on the last tour. I can’t see them not announcing another Europe leg.
