You're hypnotized for a whole hour. Just like Beyoncé, every song feels so integral to the project in their own... unique ways! Take one song out and it falls apart. Particularly obsessed with "Alien Superstar", "America Has A Problem", "Virgo's Groove" and "Honey". "America Has A Problem" is probably the most campy and meta song I've heard from her since "Best Thing I've Ever Had." "Rocket" was pretty campy too, but BTIEH was just hilarious. The 1-2-3 punch of "Move" to "Heated" to "Thique" is very amazing too. I will do everything in my power to see any tour for this album. I’m glad you’re getting into it! Im just curious about your take comparing AHAP to BTINE & Rocket. AHAP imo is more comparable to her earlier days (i.e. Bug A Boo or Upgrade U). She was honestly the first to popularize the staccato style of singing in pop and I always though AHAP was that jam that reminded us of that. BTINH reminds more of Irreplaceable, both of which could easily be considered country songs.

Exactly. That sassiness from songs like "Bug A Boo" that comes up in AHAP. You can feel her judging and finger pointing at you the whole time. The way AHAP reminds of BTINH and "Rocket" is because all three songs sound like Beyoncé doing a standard R&B Beyoncé-type song (sassy pop/R&B song, kiss off ballad and baby making song, respectively) yet she embraces the irony so much that she ends up creating new songs that stand on their own, as if saying "yes, I'm doing a song like this again because I goddamn want to!" She has no qualms about starting a song right off the bat with lyrics like Let me sit this aaaaaass on you or send a song to the radio where she belts You showed your ass and baby, yes, I saw the real you because she knows she can make it work. Plus, I always fondly remember the release of BTINH because it felt so random after the meteor that was RTW, in every possible way. Edited October 22, 2022 by Eric.

One day I find myself obsessed with MOVE, and 3 days later AHAP, next week COZY and then ENERGY... like it's crazy! You can tell that she put her blood, sweat, and tears into this project and created an immaculate body of work. I'm sure the accompanying tour will be amazing as well. I understand promoting is not her priority but it's frustrating to see the potential being wasted Artists always talk about their latest output being the 'passion project' or whatever while promoting it but you can rarely feel that it really, really is. This is the masterpiece that should've consumed by millions of people first week

Bey Admired Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 I was playing AHAS the other day and my 18 year old niece said, and I quote, “this is actually a really good song” and she hates Beyoncé.
Shelter Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Another viral song would be great, though it might not translate into streams.

kandicha Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Every time I go into the album just to play one specific song that I'm feeling like listening to at that moment, I can't stop going "just one more" when it ends and then the next thing I know I've listened to the entire album again
Bey'Knight Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Im glad yall are finally seeing the light on AHAP. wont say i told you so

Flanders Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 many songs on this album are so cunty and full of personality, they're perfect for TikTok
humbz Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 omg… not tiktok doing AHAP justice. I have to applaud.
Antisocialites Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Three months later and I still can't play Cuff It alone without Energy and BMS right after because the experience feels sooo incomplete. the transitions are immaculate and I still get goosebumps when I hear Big Freedia at the end of Energy.
aaron511 Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 AHAP has been the best song on the album since the first week. I'm glad yall are finally seeing the light
