Would y’all say this is Beyoncé’s most replayable album? My music tastes have definitely changed to more indie over the years. I’ll listen to my Discover Weekly then come back to RENAISSANCE and I’ll stay with the album. Maybe it has something do with most of her delivery being a lot less abrasive and chill for a lot of these songs ( sans when she’s goes all in with the vocals). Or maybe the INSANE production, especially with good headphones? You find something new with every listen. It really works for a lot of different situations and moods. I also love that a lot of the album has darker tones. What is it???? It’s streaming candy!

I'm in awe with this album. I've played it over 400 times and it's still so fresh and good. She's a musical genius. The way you discover something new with every new listen is mindblowing!

I love how diverse her discography is. I couldn't choose a favorite album. They're all better than each other in a different way. LEMONADE, RENAISSANCE, BEYONCÉ, 4 are all 10/10

This is an amazing album. Everyday I have a new favorite song. To me, this is Bey's most replayable album since IASF/4. It's a feel good album and I think that's why it's having a longer stay with the gp. She really chose the right time to release a feel good album.

YES! The replay value of this record is insane. Like literally. Self-titled definitely has great replay value as well, I go back to that album a lot, Dangerously In Love as well, but Renaissance is on a whole other level. I predict this album will have incredible legs and will age like fine wine like most of Beyoncé’s discography. Renaissance is just in a league of her own. AOTY and album of the decade by far. :jonnycat:

She really did :jonny5:

I felt like the theme of 2022 was everybody gradually getting back to normal (or as normal as life ever could be atp), I feel like everyone had been longing for that carefree and feel-good vibe pre-COVID in the media, escapism per se, and this album delivers that on every front. It's such a happy and carefree album that makes you feel so good. It's what been missing from mainstream music. Music that sounds good, feels good and is good. It was a recipe for success! And it couldn't have come at a better time. You're absolutely right about that.

There is no way act 2 (new music) is dropping on the 20th?

If something is dropping on the 20 it has to be the visuals?

Definitely!

I have almost 500 plays of it already and I keep coming back to it, it’s definitely AOTY at this point and I chose the right time to start stanning Bey because she has me in a chokehold with this era :jonny5:

The only other album I’ve been this obsessed with this decade so far is Future Nostalgia :gayalipacat3:

Heard Pure in a gay Festival (we're talking 5000 people or so in the audience) as the opener to the show with the dancers vogueing - My God I gagged :jonny5:

Yes, there’s no way the act ii is coming soon.

I have never experienced anything like I have with this album. I've been physically unable to listen to anything else for the last two weeks. I've played it at the very minimum, five times a day. How in the hell am I not sick of this yet?! The rumours about there being crack baked into this album have to be true. I'm addicted.

Renaissance just passed Megan and Bad Bunny album on AM. It’s currently #2 behind Rod Wave. Also she still has 11 tracks in the top 100, and that’s with tons of album bombs this past weekend.

The album could have great legs if Parkwood plays their cards right. The reception to this album is just proof that she can still compete in the streaming era with younger, buzzy artists.
