No shade, but some of these Renaissance theories on TikTok/Twitter be saying nothing but “I bet something is coming next.” We know  . 

Like folks have been talking about the time periods around the Renaissance era since we got the album title.

but to his credit the two that he was more involved with are also her commercial giants...but still, THE ARTISTRY when she's at the helm is so, so brilliant and I am so glad she feels she can just do as she pleases without trying to fit herself into trends and get hits for relevance.

 

This era, though there is a hit, has really proven HIT OR NOT, she doesn't seem to care...EVEN IF it has a wide release.

I think the sample in SR will prevent it from a SOTY nom but I’m here for VG sliding into that spot, however, I imagine POTS will be the one that earns a genre specific nom and will have the better shot at SOTY given its original composition, melodic beauty and non explicit lyricism.  VG gives me more R&B Song winner teas.  AHAP for Melodic Rap Performance fits into my fantasy as well.  And in my ultimate fantasy, AS will go on to become the biggest smash record since WAP and will win ROTY. However, I am fully certain they will submit and be nominated for BMS and AS will walk away with more categorized win like Dance/Electronic.

In all seriousness, the Uncle Johnny inclusion was both incredibly heartwarming and a total slay. She did him so right, and the way Ms. Tina wrote about him was stunning. So much love there, so much.
