That's why it continues to baffle me that so-called Progressives are pushing the narrative that we shouldn't vote. When Reps take over, they're going to make being gay and trans illegal. A lot of the language is along the lines of "we will support", "we will investigate", "charges HHS to safeguard", etc. The actual items of action feel missing. I'll follow up later to see if some of these more precise details come to light before I solidify my opinion. If Biden is serious about fighting for the LGBTQ+ community, he needs to be vocal about it though. Most of these guidances don't fall short by virtue of the limitations on executive orders, but by virtue of his failure to utilize where his power he is granted inherently as POTUS resides. See: Him deciding to not fire staff members of these federal agencies who refuse to follow the directives and guidances he is responsible for ordering.
