Gorjesspazze9 Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 (edited) Avatar: the Last Airbender Trilogy animated films have began Development. Production for the Next era of Avatar has been confirmed by creators of the original hit Nickelodeon show. The Creators state that these next 3 films will be animated and explore more of the Avatar world, including Aang and Korra’s, and stories we have yet to see. Fans speculate the timeline, Main characters, and new bending we will see in these new films. These animated films will be more like the original shows. Netflix is also producing an avatar live action TV show based on Book One: Water. How do you all feel about the Expanding of the Avatar Universe? Will we go past Korea and enter the modern age of avatars? How much of Adult Aang’s story will we see? Will Korrasami have a stronger story arch? Will the trilogy end with The Last Avatar? TheFameCurse Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Excited. I finished watching Legend Of Korra last weekend for the third time. I have watch Avatar: TLA 5 times.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted June 15, 2022 Author Posted June 15, 2022 (edited) The Last Airbender is my favorite animated show of all time. Imagine Film 1: Avatar Aang Spoiler Begins at the end of The last Airbender, Details Adult Aang and crew’s reconstruction of the fire nation. Ends with Aang vs. yakone. Having the Aang Gang vs. a group of bloodbenders as the final fight? Film 2: Avatar Korra Spoiler Begins with Korra and Asami entering the spirt world. Details how the Modern World adjust to the spirits. (Similar to season 3 but better). The end could be a battle of korra vs. evil spirits entering the earth realm Film 3: The Last Avatar Spoiler A Modern day kid learns he is the last bender of the elements. Details him bringing bending back to the world. Like a X-Men activation event. Have the main villain be similar to magneto and think they are superior to humans Give the first 20 minutes of the films to re-cap the major plot point of each show, then move into exploring more of the world, cultures, character dynamics and Bendings. infrared Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 the way the writers slept on this when clearly the public wanted more
Johnny Jacobs Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 (edited) Ohhh yesss No Korra please Edited June 15, 2022 by Johnny Jacobs

Yeah I think something like this would work well, an Aang movie, a Korra movie and then a movie introducing the next Avatar. That way everybody is pleased.
Broken Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 I'm so excited. The Last Airbender is probably the best animated show of all time. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
Goaty Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 Quote Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation announced these new projects during a special presentation at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where they also revealed that Lauren Montgomery, who previously worked on the acclaimed Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, will direct the first of the three planned Avatar movies. Several Avatar veterans are returning to assist Montgomery with the first title in the series. Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, who co-created Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, are re-teaming as producers on this project alongside Eric Coleman, who served as the executive producer and production manager of The Last Airbender series.
Jagger Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 Please just be about Aang. Korra is okay but it's such a drag to get through. Not enough good episodes. TLA has barely any filler
Venom Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 The disrespect to Korra. SHE IS A LEGEND. (Especially in season 3 and 4) Anyways, only thing that sucks here is that because of James Cameron’s Avatar, none of these projects can have Avatar in the title. At least not without The Last Airbender attached to it. Like LoK was originally supposed to be Avatar: Legend of Korra before creators or someone decided against it. I’m curious to see these working titles. Legend of Korra was almost The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra
