nostalgia Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 The first image of the Notebook star in Warner Bros.’ upcoming film adaptation of the classic doll franchise has been released Barbie recently received a summer 2023 release date, which, while stacking it up as a possible summer blockbuster, also puts it up against Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer — and what a pair that’s set to make. And Barbie’s cast is just as stacked to the gills as Nolan’s wartime epic — currently, the film is set to star Robbie and Gosling as the iconic Barbie and Ken, with Simu Liu, Issa Rae, Alexandra Shipp, Will Ferrell, Hari Nef, Ncuti Gatwa, Michael Cera, Rhea Perlman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emerald Fennell, and Rita Arya also starring, among others. https://collider.com/barbie-movie-image-ryan-gosling-ken/

Baby Judas Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Issa no.. This movie screams "panned" and "flop".
IceBreaker Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 He would be considered too old for the part if he was a woman.
thatsmydemi Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Can Hollywood start giving roles to other faces? I'm tired of seeing the same men.
NausAllien Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 The lack of chest hair will always be a turn off for me... But he's playing Ken, a literal plastic doll, so he's looking the part.
Pleighboy Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 1.) They couldn’t get someone less “seasoned”. 2.) I don’t think of Ken when I look at Ryan Gosling. 3.) It looks like a parody.
