WINNING Red would be historic.

The only Animated Oscar winner without a white man director is Spirited Away, decades ago.

meanwhile, this would be the most white supremacy cast win since, like, Frozen.

may be the most white supremacy cast for an Animated nominee this year too. let's not regress.

the animation and design were gorgeous, but tbh Pinocchio was SUCH an unbearable ******* **** that it ruined the movie for me… I felt absolutely no sympathy for him

and also Guillermo sis.. can you come up with something else? this was lowkey a recycled Pan’s Labyrinth set in Italy. it also reminded me a lot of Devil’s Backbone

there were a lot of times where I would've burned him myself :ahh: so annoying

but a very solid film, compared to Turning Red, this seems more deserving.
