Quote

Del Toro’s Pinocchio takes place not in a fairy-tale world, but in Italy between World War I and World War II, during the rise of fascism and authoritarian rule in the country. The wooden boy happens to come to life “in an environment in which citizens behave with obedient, almost puppet-like faithfulness,” del Toro says.

Looking forward to this :duca:

It's giving me Pan's Labyrinth, one of the best movies I've ever watched :duca: It's a crime that Academy gave The Shape of Water, instead of Pan's Labyrinth as the BP :jonny5:

This is definitely going to be good, not only because it’s a del Toro movie but also because the creator of Over the Garden Wall (a fantastic cartoon miniseries) is one of the writers :jonny2:

One of them will be a flop mess and another one will be a critical acclaimed and box office success :duca:

i feel like every time old movies get remakes it’s like 3 different studios making their own version at the same time.
