Yeah the A reveal had zero impact on me, it's a shame cause I mostly enjoyed the season but the last 2 episodes were meh.

Loved Bailee Madison's acting though, scream queen!

I liked this show but the reveal was meh. I don't know what to think about it. It served OG PLL level of mess but even more messy because they had to fit everything in 10 episodes... This season should have had at least 15 episodes.

 

At times I felt like everything went way too fast and there was little to no transitions between events.

the way this show went OFF the rails stupid in its first season  at least PLL was pretty good for the first 3-4 seasons or so

The show started good, great cast, direction, ecc to ending up derailed.

 

The finale was totally underwhelming and banal, at this point I don't even see the sense of a second season, the plot has been exploited, it works as limited serie.

 

Also I feel like the show was more just a teen horror show, it really didn't make sense for this show to add the text messages the girls received only to give it a sense as 'Pretty Little Liars' reboot, the whole point didn't make sense in that kind of plot.

 

The whole Angela backstory was very weak, already seen thousands of times, I was hoping for something more twisted and unexpected, but instead it was very basic.

 

Well at least I won't be mad if HBO is getting rid of this.

The reveal was worse than any OG PLL reveal  

 

We had ZERO connection to the character that was revealed. There was no drama, no betrayal. And the Leatherface character just being a random monster and not even a character we saw before? MESS

 

They went in too hard with the slasher influences and completely forgot they are making a PLL show. There was no need to completely change the PLL formula, the formula was perfect. All they had to do is write it perfectly without plot holes. But no, we ended up getting something that barely even resembles PLL.

the ending served shitty 80's slasher realness, and tbh I think it was fine, I was a little bit dissapointed but it was fine overall, i'm happy that the show got renewed

I thought this was cancelled at the end, I'm definitely gonna check it, hopefully it's gonna be better than first season that started strong and then ended derailed.
